One Afganistan veteran pulled off an amazing feat at his recent wedding, engineering a device that would allow him to stand during his first dance with his bride, Michelle. Sgt. Joey Johnson has been confined to a wheelchair since injuring his spine in a motorcycle accident, just 4 months after meeting his future wife.
With the help of friends, Sgt. Johnson carefully planned his surprise, knowing how much it would mean to Michelle. In an interview with ABC News, the brand-new Mrs. Johnson said, “Everyone was crying in the room…such a dream come true.”
Sgt. Johnson: a true Prince Charming.
