When you think of your dentist, we doubt you immediately think of their witty personality or hilarious sense of humor.
However, as kids dentists, we do like a good tooth joke as much as the next person. In fact, for those of you who find visiting the dentist to be stressful, cracking jokes ahead of time can relieve tension!
The Mayo Clinic has shown that laughter can activate and relieve your stress response creating a natural, relaxed feeling. In addition, it can stimulate and aid muscle relaxation, both of which can help reduce some of the physical symptoms of stress. One of the best things about humor is that anyone can master it.
If you are a little anxious about your next appointment, here are some of our favorite dental jokes. Leave us a comment with others that we might have forgotten. We look forward to laughing along with you!
