Get your last bits of summer fun in before the school year starts!

UTA Planetarium

Through Thursday, August 20

One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure begins on Sesame Street when Elmo’s friend, Hu Hu Zhu, visits from China. Together, Big Bird, Elmo and Hu Hu Zhu locate the Big Dipper, the North Star and the Moon in the night sky. Use your imagination to explore the moon. Return to earth and discover that even though we live far away, we all live under the same sky.

Kids Kamp Carnival Time

The Parks at Arlington Mall

Thursday, August 20

Summer’s almost over, but The Parks Mall at Arlington says there’s still time for some fun when Kids Kamp hosts an end-of-summer carnival. Like an old-fashioned county fair, the shopping center will be packed with all sorts of silliness. There will be mascots making merry, jugglers tossing and twisting, artists painting faces or making balloon creatures and so much more. Even a special performance by the Ramazini’s clowns!
